These terms explain the basic rules for using Dollar & Sense as a family chore and allowance app.

Who these terms are between

These terms are between you and Stan Lemon, the developer and operator of Dollar & Sense. They apply to your use of the app, this website, and related support content unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Your license to use Dollar & Sense

Dollar & Sense is licensed, not sold. Subject to these terms and any App Store rules that apply to your download, you may use the app for your personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable use.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app. That includes trying to interfere with how it works, attempting to bypass Apple or system-level access controls, using it for unlawful purposes, or distributing the app beyond what your license allows.

Not a bank and not financial advice

Dollar & Sense is a software tool for family chores, allowance tracking, and household record keeping. It is not a bank, not an escrow system, not tax advice, not accounting advice, and not financial planning advice. You remain responsible for how you handle real money, chores, rewards, and family agreements outside the app.

Apple services and platform dependencies

Some features depend on Apple services or device capabilities, such as iCloud sharing, notifications, widgets, App Intents, or Apple platform support on specific operating system versions. If Apple changes those systems, related features in Dollar & Sense may change too.

Availability and feature changes

Stan Lemon may update Dollar & Sense, change features, add or remove platform support, or discontinue all or part of the app at any time. Reasonable effort may be made to keep the app stable and useful, but uninterrupted availability is not promised.

No warranty

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Dollar & Sense is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. No promise is made that the app will always be error-free, perfectly available, or suitable for every family's exact workflow.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Stan Lemon will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of Dollar & Sense. That includes lost data, interrupted use, or decisions you make based on information stored in the app.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, any direct liability related to the app will be limited to the amount you paid for it in the prior 12 months, if any.

Termination

These terms remain in effect while you use the app. Your rights under them end if you stop using the app or if your use is terminated for violating these terms or applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Indiana, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where consumer protection law requires otherwise.
